LINE COOK

Areas of ownership include:

  • Execute the highest standard of food preparation including prep, cooking, plating and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe BOH before, during and after service, including upholding food safety requirements

Qualifications (Includes equipment knowledge/use):

  • 1+ years of experience cooking in a high-volume, full service restaurant
  • Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, managers and customers
  • Ability to work as a team with coworkers to complete job responsibilities to meet service and quality guidelines
  • Ability to  read, memorize and recite recipes, ingredients and other menu items.
  • Ability to convert measurements per recipe guidelines
  • Demonstrate proper knife handling skills and other kitchen equipment safety
  • Knowledge of a wide range of recipes and cooking techniques
  • Ability to perform basic sanitation practices
  • Possess a valid Food Handler’s Card or obtain one during training upon hire as required by law
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and kneel for duration of shift
  • Physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware up to 50 lbs

Pay: $19-$23/hr
