Areas of ownership include:

  • Brand Ambassador for Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel – From the welcome to the goodbye {and everything in between} you are to ensure that guests expectations are exceeded as they experience our property.
  • Day to day host operations including, but not limited to,  seating guests and managing the seating chart, monitoring restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow, responding to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, and performing opening and closing duties, as needed.

Qualifications (Includes equipment knowledge/use):

  • 1+ years experience in customer service (Prior experience hosting in a restaurant is a plus)
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in verbal and written English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
  • Prioritize and organize work assignments, have timely follow up and execution
  • Have superb time management skills
  • Ability to apply logical thinking and understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
  • Ability to address and solve problems involving guest and operational issues
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Possess the physical and mental stamina to work for extended periods of time
  • Sit, walk, and stand continuously
  • Lift / carry up to 25lbs

Pay: Minimum + tips
